Rayon is a silky man-made fiber composed of cellulose.

Rayon uses natural polymers as raw materials. It is made by chemical methods and has basically the same chemical composition as the original polymer, such as viscose yarn, cuprammonium yarn, etc. It is made of cotton shorts containing cellulose substances. Among them, viscose yarn is bright and soft, has good water absorption, is easy to dye, does not pill, and has good suspension properties, but has low wet strength and poor grinding. It is often used to knit knitted underwear, fashion and decorative fabrics, etc. Cellulose is extracted from plant fibers. Through a series of reactions, the molecular chains are broken up, so that the cellulose changes from a macromolecular structure to a small molecular structure (it becomes a viscous liquid after the reaction). It is sprayed through a spinneret with small holes. , under the action of catalysts such as sulfuric acid, small molecules recombine into macromolecules and form a solid. After later washing and other processing methods, it becomes rayon.
